Extraction of raw materials

We work only with wild algae that have grown in the natural environment of the White Sea. These unique plants accumulate a record number of useful substances, because they have been hardened by the harsh conditions of the North:

• Temperature fluctuations - from summer heat to winter frosts.
• Tides that test the algae's strength on a daily basis.
• The short northern summer, during which the plants must accumulate all the components they need to survive.

The harvesting season lasts only a few weeks in late summer, and the changeable weather makes it even shorter. It is during this period that the algae reach the peak of their biological activity, making them an ideal raw material for our products.

We harvest algae by hand, using traditional methods that do not disturb the delicate balance of the ecosystem:

• Collecting on carbs - special boats from which the harvesters carefully lift the algae using long poles.
• Preserving the root system so that the algae can continue to grow and regenerate.

The crystal clear waters of the White Sea and a careful approach ensure that our raw materials remain ecologically clean and nature remains untouched.

After gentle harvesting, the algae are naturally dried outdoors, where the sea wind and the sun's heat preserve all the valuable vitamins, micro- and macronutrients. These golden-green strands contain a unique concentrate of nutrients, which we gently extract using our patented hydrodynamic cavitation technology. This innovative method allows us to unlock the natural potential of algae, ensuring maximum bioavailability and assimilation of active ingredients. After drying, the raw material is promptly delivered to the production facility where biologically active substances are extracted, preserving their natural effectiveness and benefits.

Fucus bubblegum is a unique brown algae that grows in the clear waters of the White Sea. It is often called “sea mimosa” or “sea grape” for its characteristic branching leaves with golden-green color and rounded air bubbles.

What makes fucus unique?

• Natural floaters - air sacs help the plant stay closer to the surface, maximizing sunlight absorption for photosynthesis.
• Record growth - in favorable conditions, the alga can add up to 0.5 cm per week, reaching 2 meters in length over its 5-year life.
• Dense thickets - forms real underwater “meadows”, creating a unique ecosystem.

The secret of useful properties

The harsh conditions of the North - temperature fluctuations, high tides, limited growing season - make fucus accumulate the maximum amount of:

• iodine
• fucoidan
• alginic acids
• vitamins and minerals

This is why the algae harvested at the end of the short northern summer is the ideal raw material for our products.

Laminaria, known as “seaweed”, is a true gift of the northern seas. In the clean waters of the White Sea we harvest two particularly valuable species:

Laminaria saccharifolia and Palchathorascella

These unique algae form dense underwater forests at a depth of 4-10 meters, creating:

• Powerful “kelp belts” - natural biofilters and habitat for marine organisms
• Long plates (up to 3-5 meters) with a deep brown color
• Dense thickets, which can be compared to real underwater oak forests
